Descrizione del progetto

The project consists of two related pieces of research. In the first one I develop a standard life- cycle incomplete market model where I assume that preferences are of the Epstein-Zin type and explore its implications for consumption insurance. In the other research I extend the previous model to a two-asset life-cycle portfolio choice problem with the goal of structurally estimating preference parameters.
